- Worked as a team with Grounds, Maintenance and District
Maintenance departments to clean campus and grounds of fire
debris in one and a half days.

Remodeled the 590 A, B, C, E, F, L, Q, R, S, T, 517 A, B,
582 A, B and EOPS offices; painted interiors of 500 North,
East and South classrooms; and created an EOPS patio, and
added office space.

Improved athletic facilities: outdoor weight training
facility, drainage system on baseball field, scoreboard in
main gym, repaired gym roof and skylights, and replaced pool
plumbing.

Upgraded the Health Professions Computer Center to
state-of-the-art technology; remodeled Room 363 to increase
student capacity and access.

Remodeled the Astronomy lab to protect telescopes from the
new LTRC lights; installed a walk-in freezer in Culinary
Arts; installed a separate air system for the glaze area,
and storage racks in Ceramics and Sculpture programs.

Supported over 400 special event on- and off-campus setups
including multiple department graduations, staff
development, career and clubs fairs, and choir and symphony
deliveries in support of student oriented and instructional
programs.

Completed 500 Complex lighting and energy conservation
project which included: installing skylights, replacing
ceiling grid and tiles, installing insulation in ceilings,
installing motion detectors and light sensors.

Completed campus wide energy conservation project, which included installing
motion sensors to office and classroom lighting systems, and vending misers on
campus vending machines to reduce their consumption of electricity.

Completed accessibility projects which included:
installation of accessible walkway (wheel chair ramp)
leading from Parking Lot 4 to the 400 building complex;
replaced doors, hardware, mats, and thresholds to provide
accessibility to the main gym, installed handrails and
non-slip coatings on the north east 400 buildings stairs.

Completed construction/demolition projects in rooms 556
and 534/535A to create larger more functional classrooms;
and remodeled room 120 into new International Student
Counseling Office.

Completed remodel of classrooms 356, 376, 523, 524, 525,
530, 531, 532, 533, and 571 classrooms, and 500 complex
whiteboard replacement program.

Replaced carpet and painted Griffin Gate, Students
Affairs, ASGC offices, and lobbies.

Replaced classroom desks in Rooms 523, 524, 525, 571, 356,
and installed new furnishings in Financial Aid and Health
Professions offices.

Completed IPP for 200 Complex Phase One – Performance
Theater; preliminary plans for the Digital Arts and
Sculpture buildings; and construction of the new Main Quad
and emergency vehicle road.

Initiated internal IPP preparations on the New Parking
Structure, Life Safety Road, Student Services Complex, and
400 Building Complex remodel.

Completed geological testing for Parking Structure,
Digital Arts Building, Student Services Complex, Performance
Theater Building, and Science Lab Building.

Began Phase One of the new Science Lab Building
construction, which included: the earthwork, demolition,
site grading, and portions of the site utility work.
