Teachable moment  offers timely teaching ideas, lesson plans, essays for discussion, etc. Aimed at K-12 teachers, links to good (i.e., model) educational Websites.  Their intent is to "encourage critical thinking on issues of the day and foster a positive classroom environment."  It is a project of the Morningside Center for Teaching Social Responsibility.
