Employment Opportunities
A variety of employment opportunities exist for
graduates of the Disability Services Management Certificate or
Associate Degree Programs. Disability Services Managers may be
employed as direct support providers or as entry and midlevel
managers in a variety of community living alternatives. Options
include staff supervision, program design and implementation and
management of the day to day operation of a home for persons with
developmental disabilities. Other employment settings include
supported employment programs, transportation services, local
monitoring agencies and positions in special education programs
assisting the credentialed instructor.
