The Grossmont College
Scholarship Program attempts to recognize as many qualified and outstanding
students as possible and has established two application periods per
academic year. Students may apply in both the fall and spring semester if
they meet the eligibility criteria.
Who can apply?
Students currently enrolled at Grossmont College who have completed a
minimum number of units may apply for campus based scholarships. The awards
are competitive and are based on the applicant’s statement and academic record.
How do I apply?
Applications for campus based scholarships can be printed online or may be obtained from the Financial Aid Office,
Building 10 . With the

Availability of campus-based
scholarships is dependent on current funding.
The Deadline for Spring 2013 campus based scholarship has passed. Look for
the fall 2013 application late February.
How much is a scholarship award?
Awards for campus-based
scholarships range from $100-$1,500.
Must I have financial need to apply for a scholarship?
Many scholarships do not require financial need. If the scholarship criteria
states financial need as a requirement, the student must submit a Free
Application for Federal Student Aid. Receiving a scholarship may have an
impact on your financial aid package. Please check with your financial aid
advisor for specific details.
How will I get my scholarship money?
Each semester the Grossmont College Scholarship Office and the Grossmont
College Foundation sponsors a Scholarship Awards Breakfast.
Scholarship checks are disbursed directly to students at this event.
