New Student Advising
Presentations
First time college students only - If
you already attended an Assessment session and need clarification on which
classes to take, you may attend a New Student Advising Presentation
AND/OR complete the Online Orientation. This is
your only opportunity to meet with a counselor before the semester begins.
Information on HOW to
access Group Orientation/Advising presentations will be explained at
the assessment test. At these presentations:
- Your placement results will be provided and
explained
- With the assistance of a counselor, you will
develop a first semester plan based on
your assessment results and educational goal
- A question/answer period will be provided
NO LATE ADMISSION. (Allow 1.5-2 hours)
Bring 1)paper & pen/pencil, and 2)handouts
you received at the Assessment session,

after completing an Assessment Test*
