English as a Second Language Orientation/Class Selection

What does my ESL placement result mean?

  1. If your placement result is ESL 70-71, or 80-81, or 96, or 100, Grossmont College recommends that you take English as a Second Language courses ONLY.

  2. If your placement level is ESL 103 or higher, you can make an appointment for the math test by calling or visiting the Assessment Office.

  3. If your placement result is ESL 103, or 106, or 119, make an appointment for a Group Orientation/Advising Presentation.
